Piece description from the artist
This photograph captures a view of the cool and majestic Window Rock formation is partly highlighted by the golden evening sunlight. On the right you see a glimpse of a memorial wall honoring the names of Navajo servicemen who were killed or declared MIA since WWII. A clear blue sky contrasts with the large orange sandscape rock wall. A sidewalk curves around giving you different angles of the opening. The town this is located in is also called Window Rock so you can guess where it got its name. This is the capital of Navajo Nation. This is in the southwestern state of Arizona, United States.
