As a landscape photographer, lighting and sky make or break a capture! I have photographed the Platte River throughout Colorado, many, many times. This is one capture that stood out because of the lighting and sky. Perfect in many ways, but especially for its warmth and early evening twinkle. I return to this spot, especially because it's a place that I find spiritual and inviting. It renews my soul.
Barbara has been exposed to art and creativity, her entire life! Her mother was an oil painter and her grandfather, not only an MD, but a talented artist as well. At the age of 16, Barbara found her creative passion looking through the lens of a Canon camera. She has be a photographer from that point on, finding subject matter from the gritty streets of Manhattan, to the alpine environment of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. She feels most at home now, among big horned sheep, moose and mountains of Colorado!
