Wild America

Wild America

Piece description from the artist

Have you ever been to Alaska? I had the good fortune of exploring this wonderful, wild and unspoiled section of America and highly recommend you visit if you haven't already been. The scenery is stunning! These flowers are called Indian Celery or Cow Parsnip and look like a larger, sturdier version of Queen Anne's lace. They are abundant and beautiful. On this particular day we spent the morning canoeing to a glacier then hiking through a temperate rain forest which magically spilled out into this beautiful meadow that was filled with these gorgeous flowers. Truly breathtaking!
