White Pocket Earths Hidden Art

Piece description from the artist

This landscape photograph captures another striking view of White Pocket, where flowing sandstone curves and sculpted formations create an abstract, almost dreamlike desert scene. Rounded ridges, shallow basins, and naturally carved patterns spread across the landscape, showcasing layers of white, cream, rust, and soft gold tones. Located on the remote Paria Plateau within Vermilion Cliffs National Monument, near the Utah border, this rugged terrain feels untouched and timeless. Accessible only by high-clearance, four-wheel-drive vehicles, White Pocket offers a rare and humbling glimpse into nature’s raw artistry in the American Southwest.
