In this botanical photograph, a White Peacock butterfly rests delicately on vibrant hot pink tropical flowers in Orlando, Florida, United States. This striking butterfly is known for its white wings accented with brown and orange edging, along with a few distinctive black spots near the center. White Peacock butterflies are commonly found in open, moist environments such as the edges of ponds and streams, shallow ditches, weedy fields, and city parks. A member of the Nymphalidae family, this species adds a graceful touch of motion and color to Florida’s lush natural landscapes.
