Piece description from the artist
Perched delicately on top of a patch of soft green moss, a tiny daisy grows from the rugged surface of a weathered rock along the trail at Broadmoor Seven Falls in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. it captured my eye. The flower, small yet resilient, becomes the quiet hero of the scene with its bright yellow center and fragile petals standing in gentle contrast to the earthy textures beneath it.
Both the foreground and background of this single bloom fade into a dreamy blur, the forest dissolving into soft greens and shadows. This natural “tunnel” of focus draws your eye straight to the daisy, isolating it in a moment of stillness and strength. It’s a subtle reminder of how life persists in the most unexpected places, quietly thriving amid stone and solitude along the trail. This is also part of South Cheyenne Cañon (Canyon).
