This was taken in mid-december during one of the biggest swells in SD history. The waves were absolutely massive! For those of you unfamiliar with surfing, when paddling over a big wave, there is a split second of weightlessness, hence the name.
Lucas Lansing is a young photographer based out of Reno, NV. He focuses on costal photography, incorporating his love for surfing and yoga. Using a Cannon on land and a DJI Phantom for his aerial shots, Lucas makes sure he has all angles covered to demonstrate the beauty that is all around us.
