Waves Around The Perdidio Pass Jetty

Morning waves roll around the rock jetty at Perdido Pass in Orange Beach, Alabama, creating a peaceful coastal scene along the Gulf of Mexico. Resting among the rocks is a simple wooden cross that caught my attention. Whether it was placed as a memorial or as an expression of faith, it added a quiet, meaningful element to the shoreline.

Soft clouds drift overhead with subtle hints of pink and purple left behind by the sunrise, while foamy waves wash across the wet sand before retreating back into the Gulf. Standing there, listening to the steady rhythm of the surf, I couldn't help but pause and take in the calm beauty of the morning.

I captured this photograph to preserve not only the scenic coastline but also the peaceful atmosphere that made this moment so memorable. Between the crashing waves, the weathered jetty, and the small cross overlooking the water, it was a reminder that the coast has a way of bringing both reflection and serenity.
