Water Ripples Of Antelope Canyon

A calm morning boat ride through the towering sandstone walls near Antelope Canyon on Lake Powell in Page, Arizona is a great way to start the day. A Kayaker at the base of one of the cliff walls helps give you a perspective of how tall the cliffs are. Different layers of soft creams, warm oranges, and rich reddish tones show the beauty of natural art created over time.

This is the water side of the famous slot canyon, where sculpted sandstone walls meet still, reflective water. Early light filters across the canyon, enhancing the textures, curves, and flowing lines of the rock formations shaped over time by water, wind, and natural forces.

Formed after the creation of Glen Canyon Dam on the Colorado River, Lake Powell is part of the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, a vast protected landscape managed by the National Park Service that spans canyons, cliffs, and winding waterways.

It's pretty cool seeing water like this in the desert American Southwest.
