This is am abstract painting made in acrylic. It explores the language of image and mark making using a palette of cool colors.
Anne graduated in 1989 from the Rhode Island School of Design with a degree in painting, and received the "Florence Lief Scholarship":http://www.askart.com/askart/p/florence_leif_peers/florence_leif_peers.aspx for best female painter. In 1993 Anne went to graduate school at The Museum School of Fine Arts, Boston, MA for a MA in Fine arts. Anne moved to Los Angeles, CA, in 1996 and worked as a muralist and decorative painter for "The Demar Feldman Company":http://mimifeldman.com/about from 1998-2003.
In 2009 Anne received her MEd from Lesley University. From 2013-16 Anne taught art in the Bahamas at Lyford Cay International School. Presently, for the past 5 years Anne has taught art at Reads Academy in Middleborough MA, where she has a studio and continues to work on her art.
