Vancouver Morning

Piece description from the artist

Vancouver Morning was inspired by a quiet walk at dawn, when the trees stood partially cloaked in fog, their tops reaching through the mist like gentle whispers of the landscape. The composition captures the feeling of that serene moment, with soft transitions from earthy greens and browns into pale, atmospheric whites and yellows. The subtle, almost ghostlike forms evoke both presence and absence—what is hidden, and what is revealed. Created through an intuitive layering process, this piece reflects the artist’s response to natural beauty and the emotional stillness it evokes. Vancouver Morning invites the viewer to pause and take in the quiet magic of a world just beginning to wake.
