It is cool to see flowers blooming in a desert landscape in Utah. The orange wildflowers add some color to the orange brown rocky landscape. It truly is amazing how these plants survive the harsh environment. In this photograph you can see buttes and mesa mountain rock formations in the background. You can also see the remains of a tree log behind the flowers. This wilderness landscape is located in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area in Lake Powell, Utah, United States. The red rock formations tower over the landscape as the sun casts shadows on them. This isn't too far from Hite Overlook area.
