Utah Desert To Mountains

Piece description from the artist

A stunning roadside view reveals the snowcapped peaks of the La Sal Mountains rising in the distance beyond layers of mesa formations and scattered hoodoos near Moab, Utah, United States. Captured along Utah State Route 128, the winding highway curves gently through the rugged terrain, guiding the eye deeper into the landscape.

Soft clouds drift above the peaks while patches of green shrubs and golden grasses add contrast to the cool blue tones of the distant mountains and red tones of the mesa formations. Just beyond the vegetation on the right, the Colorado River flows, barely visible, yet an essential part of the scene, bringing life to this dramatic meeting of desert and alpine beauty.
