Kimberly Barnes is a multimedia artist working primarily in sound, animation, and video. Her haunting subject matter encompasses the metaphysical struggles of black identity, mental illness, and understanding sadness – all wrapped in a box of nostalgic deception.
Kimberly currently resides in Boston, Massachusetts where she received her Master's of Fine Arts from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts.
