Twilight Under Bennett Spring Bridge

Piece description from the artist

This photograph captures a peaceful early fall twilight morning at Bennett Spring State Park near Lebanon, Missouri, USA, taken from beneath the bold Highway 64 ALT arched bridge. In the bold blue hour light, the waterfall created by the dam, glows with pink and purple hues from the surrounding lights, while a gentle haze drifts around the falls, adding to the tranquil mood. The scene highlights the park’s natural beauty before sunrise, just moments before fishermen arrived to cast their lines for trout. Fed by a powerful natural spring that produces around 100 million gallons of water each day, Bennett Spring is one of Missouri’s oldest and most scenic state parks, especially enchanting during the fall season.
