An oil painting on canvas of Tuscan cypress trees reaching towards to sky, against a vivid field of summer poppies. I used complimentary colors to create this piece, contrasting the red and green of the poppies and the blue and yellow of the trees and sky.
I've always been an artist and painting is how I express my joy for life. Nature is my inspiration. I'm a prolific creator, with a wide range of mediums and surfaces including: encaustic wax, oil paints, alcohol inks, watercolors, acrylics, textiles, pottery, ceramic decals and glass. I live with my family in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina. We have a dog, who makes us a family of 5.
