Piece description from the artist
Harlem, New York City.
Years ago, having just moved to NYC and seeing everything for the first time, I tried to shoot in a style that generated excitement, wonder and a sense of exploration all in one that I still strive for today. To some the city may feel claustrophobic and restricting, which is why I try and find moments of peace and calm throughout all mazes and avenues.
Phil Provencio is a New York based photographer and graphic designer. In addition to running his hit photo-blog "REBEL REBEL":http://philprovencio.tumblr.com/, Phil's work has been showcased and displayed at clubs from Phoenix to New York.
Most notably Phil's works have been featured on "CBS":http://www.cbs.com/, "LA Weekly":http://www.laweekly.com/, "Variety":http://www.variety.com/, 944, and "Urban Outfitters":http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/index.jsp. Phil currently lives and works in New York.
For Phil, one of the most rewarding parts of his job is hearing from happy customers.
