Disney was a huge part of my childhood but I recently watched a documentary on Walt Disney that opened my eyes to how talented he was as an artist and innovator. I wanted to pay tribute to one of his original creations, Mickey Mouse, but put my own spin on it.
Austin James is a full-time graphic designer and artist out of Dallas, TX. James uses his graphic design background as part of his creative process to put his distorted pop art spin on an image before he even put a brush to the canvas. James love to create vibrant acrylic pop art style paintings heavily influenced by graffiti, street art and psychedelic music.
