Piece description from the artist
A striking biophilic abstract capturing the rare helix structure and torsional grain of deeply furrowed tree bark. Sculptural diagonal lines and deep dimensional shadows form a dynamic, organic pattern ideal for modern corporate, healthcare, and executive interiors.
From the smallest details of macro to the vast panorama of a landscape, with a quick stop off at many subjects in between, Rick's passion for detail and capturing the moment has inspired him to shoot many different genres. He enjoys traveling to different parts of the world and will take his camera, even on work trips. More recently, he has been practicing creating artistic renditions of his photograph.
