Piece description from the artist
In the American West,
you find a wide variety of abandoned still lifes.
show the signs of their travels.
Graffiti from coast to coast
preserved in a monument to American ingenuity.
Set it and forget it.
Nathan & Claire Presnall are a husband and wife photography team. They shoot professionally through their Atlanta based studio, Rebecca Claire Photography. While they each have an individual style, after shooting together for over a decade and developing a technique that involves trading cameras several times throughout a shoot, they decided it was best to join forces. Their inspiration is the beauty they see every day. Their joy is sharing their art with each other and their viewers.
Claire got her first camera when she was eight and hasn't looked back. After graduating from Washington University in St. Louis with a BFA in Photography, Claire moved to Atlanta and opened Rebecca Claire Photography, shooting portraits and events.
Nathan has a BFA in broadcast design from Savannah College of Art & Design. He focuses on the story-telling potential in frozen moments and loves photography that evokes the "What is this?" response. Nathan also does the majority of the post-production work on all of their photography.
Together they travel the world with their cameras ready; not limiting themselves to a particular subject, they shoot whatever beauty the universe presents them.
