I took this shot of Jardine house, one of the most iconic towers in Hong Kong, during a rainy night, when dark and scary clouds were passing next to it. The combination of this gloomy weather with the facade pattern and its circular windows was very powerful and I had to recreate and somehow freeze the feeling I had inside with a shot and this is the result.
Sergio Capuzzimati is an Italian architect and photographer based in Hong Kong.
His architecture background strongly influenced his photography work: through his lenses, he is constantly exploring the infinite scenarios that a city like Hong Kong is able to offer, digging out its soul and its archetypal elements with the use of bold colors and double exposure.
