Piece description from the artist
An intriguing biophilic abstract featuring the flowing, fingerprint-like wood grain and sweeping contours of mature tree bark. Subtle slate-grey and warm amber tones highlight tactile micro-textures, creating a sophisticated statement piece for modern corporate, healthcare, and executive interiors.
From the smallest details of macro to the vast panorama of a landscape, with a quick stop off at many subjects in between, Rick's passion for detail and capturing the moment has inspired him to shoot many different genres. He enjoys traveling to different parts of the world and will take his camera, even on work trips. More recently, he has been practicing creating artistic renditions of his photograph.
