Piece description from the artist
Check out the stunning reflections I captured of the majestic orange and red Navajo sandstone walls of Antelope Canyon. They mirror beautifully in the calm waters of Lake Powell in Page, Arizona. This is the waterway part of the canyon, where the peaceful morning conditions created nearly perfect conditions for the seeing double affect.
The farther we traveled into the canyon, the more tranquil the water became. It was an unforgettable moment when everything seemed calm, allowing the reflections to glisten.
The narrow, winding canyon carved into the sandstone over time, reveals a perspective few visitors experience from the water. The combination of cliffs, glass like reflections, and the quiet beauty of the morning made this one of my favorite moments while exploring the breathtaking American Southwest scenery.
