What is "Time Slice"? Each photo consists of 36 photos taken before, during and after sunset, "sliced" together showing the change from day to night in a single photograph. This series of photos have been featured in many articles around the world such as, CNN, Dezeen, Petapixel, Arch2o, DesignBoom, Stirworld and ThisIsColossal. Richard Silver (USA) is New York born and bred but to him, home is where his camera is, he has visited 113 countries in his life. He loves iconic architecture, whether it’s ancient or modern, and is always focused on documenting beautiful structures in each new city he visits.
Richard loves using techniques such as tilt shift, vertical panoramas and time slice to present our everyday world in an altered visual context.
His work has been exhibited in museums and galleries around the world, including the The Skyscraper Museum in New York, Gestaltung Museum in Switzerland and the PhEST Photo Festival in Italy.
