Vibrant thistles bursting with personality. This painting will make everyone feel happy! It has an incredible amount of intricate details layered in vivid, yet soothing colors. It was created entirely with alcohol inks. I find my happy place in painting flowers, and I hope you see a happy version of yourself when viewing these three thistles.
I've always been an artist and painting is how I express my joy for life. Nature is my inspiration. I'm a prolific creator, with a wide range of mediums and surfaces including: encaustic wax, oil paints, alcohol inks, watercolors, acrylics, textiles, pottery, ceramic decals and glass. I live with my family in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina. We have a dog, who makes us a family of 5.
