There Is No Planet B

Piece description from the artist

This illustration was originally created for the March For Science. I've received a great response, and have since begun to sell this image to like-minded individuals who believe our home sweet home, Earth, is in trouble, while some Americans continue to ignore science.

About Caitlin B. Alexander

Austin, TX

Caitlin B. Alexander is an illustrator based in Austin, Texas with a particular love for dry-brush gouache painting. Both her life and work are heavily influenced by the aesthetics of the 1940's, '50s and '60s. She fancies herself a collector of memories as much as a collector of things, and enjoys bringing this sense of nostalgia to her audience.

Some of her favorite niches within illustration are hand-lettered poster design, repeat-patterns, picture books, and art licensing onto home goods. She also enjoys doing custom work for clients, and focuses a lot on selling her own products.

Caitlin attended the Savannah College of Art and Design, with a focus on Illustration and Printmaking, and graduated in 2011. Over the last six years, she has created work for National Geographic Learning, the Texas Board of Tourism, Ladybug Magazine, the Texas Farmers' Markets, and many more.
