Piece description from the artist
This vertical night cityscape photo of downtown Cape Girardeau, Missouri, showcases a striking view looking straight down Themis Street toward the beautifully illuminated historic City Hall and Courthouse. The brick-paved street glows warmly under the streetlights, leading the eye upward to the grand courthouse and its iconic clock tower standing proudly at the intersection of Main and Themis Streets. Above, a crescent moon shines in the deep night sky, adding a peaceful touch to the scene. Built in 1854 and thoughtfully restored over time, the courthouse retains portions of its original 1888 woodwork, preserving the charm and history of downtown Cape Girardeau.
