Piece description from the artist
This is the second installment of the series, and one of my favorites. After completing this piece, I realized that there was definitely something more to this series and that I would continue with it. I feel the image is interesting in the contrast between his skin being pulled over his head and the relaxed gesture of his arms at his side.
I am a photo realist painter that works with acrylics on canvas. My primary focus is on the Urban Landscape; Chicago / European. My compositions are usually ambitious and involve a lot of detail and information. Although a typical painting will take up to 150 hours, they are very rewarding when completed. This is the type of artwork I love and am drawn to.
