Piece description from the artist
I was standing on the shore of Leo Cabrillo Beach on a windy day and watching the waves rolling in and I wanted to capture the strength and power of these waves in a photograph. The standard photograph of a the sea did not achieve this purpose so I opted for the more creative way to capture the majesty of the wave starting to roll in. When one views this image you can almost smell the ocean and feel its power. Seascapes are one of my favorite subjects because of its ever changing scenery. Leo Cabrillo Beach is about an hour's drive from Los Angeles and is named after Leo Cabrillo, the actor who in the 1930s and early 40s played the Cisco Kid's sidekick in the westerns of the time.
