This work continues my exploration of turquoise in all its moods and personalities. The burnt orange and wine-toned circles came in as playful counterpoints, helping the palette feel both grounded and vibrant. I enjoyed making loose, gestural marks that give the piece a sense of movement and immediacy. Created within my Little Gems series, this painting is about staying curious, following inspiration from unexpected places, and letting colour guide the way.
