The simple, but majestic beauty and grace of a single calla lily. Photographed on a spring morning on the Monterey coast,
Central California, USA. The flower was captured at a place called Calla Lily Valley,which a smallish area nestled
between two bluffs that leads your attention to the expanse of the Pacific Ocean.

Joseph is a self-taught photographer living in San Diego, California. Joseph wants to approach his photography from a place of simplicity and avoid making this enjoyable and creative process overburdened from a technical standpoint. He still continues working to improve his craft all the while though. His photographs are presented in a straightforward way and engage the creative process to produce photographs of familiar subjects in an impressionistic and abstract manner. His simple hope is that his photographic work promotes an interest in art and that it expresses joy and beauty.
