The Labyrinth

Piece description from the artist

The slot canyons in Northern Arizona are divided in two sections, Upper Antelope Canyon and Lower Antelope Canyon. This is a photograph of the inside of the Upper Antelope Canyon. The canyon walls consist of sandstone and have been carved out over millions of years by rain and wind. The only source of light is the sunlight that filters in from the openings at the surface that then reflects off the sand particles that change suspended in midair and thus illuminates the interior of the canyon.
