The highline park

The Highline Park

Piece description from the artist

Highline Park in New York City. Romantic dates by walking through the Highline Park, it is so nice to be a New Yorker and enjoy the free beautiful park.
I integrated traditional Chinese painting techniques into this artwork – traditional brushes with gouache paints and ink on watercolor paper. I had a MFA degree in traditional Chinese painting and a MFA degree in illustration. I combined my traditional Chinese painting skills with some new and modern touches together on my paintings to make my art style unique and special.
