Piece description from the artist
This image was done from life as the fish was…..shall we say, expiring. I think forcing yourself to work within the natural confines of existence, helps focus the purpose of the art and undeniably influences the final outcome.
Ben Ferry is a former high school and college all-American soccer player who grew up in Washington, D.C.. After being drafted by "D.C. United":http://www.dcunited.com/, he played professionally for three years before a major spinal injury forced him to retire.
