Piece description from the artist
Dionysus is not in revelry — he is in thought. With a handful of ripe grapes and calm eyes, he captures the moment before transformation. The juice begins to drip, marking the quiet birth of wine — not yet celebration, but the promise of it. Thick brushstrokes and layered textures give the painting a tactile feel, while the vivid palette bridges myth and modernity. Oil, canvas. Signed. Varnished.
Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favorite.
Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso. The painting Girl on the Ball made a big impression on me in my childhood.
