The End of Winter's Tale

The End of Winter's Tale

Piece description from the artist

This piece pays tribute to one of my favorite painters:
Andrew Wyeth. Like Andy, I decided to "Paint WHERE
I LIVE" ~ Eden Prairie, Minnesota. This watercolor was
painted to celebrate the demise of one of Minnesota's
worst winters on record ~ hence the burial scene. The
location is Staring Lake, about 2 miles from our home.
The characters: all fictitious, but truly grateful.
