A vibrant male Taveta Golden Weaver perches on a branch in Orlando, Florida, USA. This striking bird, also known as the Taveta Weaver or Mango Bird (Ploceus castaneiceps), features bright golden-yellow and orange plumage with contrasting green wings. Native to the African savannahs of Kenya and Tanzania, Taveta Golden Weavers are known for their colorful appearance and intricate nest-building behaviors, making them a favorite among bird watchers and wildlife photographers.
