Piece description from the artist
Sunflowers reaching the sky. Sunflower seeds were brought to Europe in the 16th century, where, along with sunflower oil, they became a widespread cooking ingredient.
My work encapsulates a unique perspective on everyday subjects, a sort of "eclectic randomness". I am completely self taught and continually push the limits of photographic theory to produce images that are cutting edge, unique and exclusive. Within my work, the observer embarks on numerous journeys and adventures while perusing each image. Nikon equipment and various PC programs are utilized and, while I am not a "purist", I only utilize digital editing techniques to enhance color schemes within the original image. I have won numerous awards, participated in top national juried shows, and have works collected on every continent.
