This vertical black and white photograph captures a sun star shining through the natural opening of Turret Arch in the Windows Section of Arches National Park, near Moab, Utah. After exploring the arch, I turned back to see the sun’s rays bursting through the rock, creating a stunning sunburst effect. The warm light illuminated the sandstone, making the formation glow with rich tones. This striking desert scene showcases the dramatic beauty and iconic geology of Utah’s rock formations.
