The trees were dressed in autumn's finest – leaves a quiet riot of color – but stripping the scene to black and white turned it into something far more dramatic and timeless; the path framed by shadows and soft light made it feel less like a park and more like a private promenade. Without the distraction of color, every line and branch seemed intentional, as if the space had been designed to hold your thoughts and slow your steps. In that monochrome hush, it was easy to imagine choosing this walk every day, in any season, just for the way it made me feel as if the world here was entirely mine.
