Street scene pisco elqui

Street Scene, Pisco Elqui

Piece description from the artist

As we drove through the village of Pisco Elqui, Chile, I snapped this photo of a woman and her two dogs manning a small mercado. Most markets in rural villages are local businesses, not chains, and I imagine this woman had been in charge of her market for many years.
