Piece description from the artist
This work is based on my appreciation and exploration of the techniques used in Gerhard Richter's paintings of a similar style, though his are on a much larger scale than mine.
I enjoyed the unexpected paint effects of dragging a flat squeegee across the surface of the canvas when making these works.
