Stories Handed Down II (detail)

Piece description from the artist

We are all connected. Fascinated with family history, I read the names and stories of those who came before me, contemplating their lives from my own tiny spot in time. Using strong color to evoke emotion, I invite the viewer to explore their own stories. Note: The original painting is a square proportion. This image is a selected detail of the original.
