A renovated historical theater in Ely, Minnesota.
When you visit northern Minnesota, I mean up there near Canada land, there is a small town on the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area named Ely. This town comes to life during the summer months with explorers and their canoes, resorts, and summer vacationers. But during the winter, what better way to escape than to the movies. This gem of a theater was recently renovated. A what a treasure.
Lisa Drew is a photo artist in Minnesota Minnesota. Her work has been featured in several gallery shows including the Robbin Gallery, Frank Stone Gallery in Minneapolis, the prestigious Minnesota State Fair Fine Arts exhibit, and the Minneapolis Convention Center.
Lisa explores architectural forms, landscapes, and abstracts in both black & white and color. Her work has been called bold, expressive, and, in some cases, award-winning.
