Piece description from the artist
This rustic photograph shows the final staircase that takes you to Greer Spring in Alton, Missouri, United States. This point of view gives you an idea of how rough and rugged this rocky wilderness area is. Untouched nature and messy but beautiful. I took this during the fall season as you can see the sunlight highlighting the colors of the trees and it gives a small sunburst of light through them. Greer Spring is the 2nd largest natural spring in Missouri producing around 220 million gallons of water a day. This area is 4100 acres known as Greer Spring Special Management Area and is part of Eleven Point National Scenic River. This is also part of the Mark Twain National Forest Area.
