Piece description from the artist
The turn on during a quiet autumn evening along Route 66 Byway in downtown Springfield Missouri's Public Square Historic District in United States. Also known as Park Central Square, there's quite a bit of history here as it sits along historic Route 66. The buildings (most listed on National Register of Historic Places) were built between 1890 and 1959. One of the historic landmarks is the 7-story Heers Tower / Heers Department Store you can see in the background built in 1915. The golden lights give a warm cast of color against the blue and purple hues of the sky for a good contrast.
