Soft Light Over East Pass

A peaceful evening along the shoreline of Snorkel Beach in Destin, Florida, featuring the quiet beauty of the East Pass. Standing at the water’s edge, I watched as the emerald-green waters gently flowed beneath a mostly cloudy sky, creating a calm coastal scene. Some beams of sunlight shine through the clouds adding soft drama.

To the far right, a glimpse of the Destin and William T. Marler Bridges can be seen in the distance, subtly framing the entrance to the harbor. On the left is a rock jetty. The sky above begins to soften with warm golden tones near the horizon, hinting at sunset even though the sunset isn't for another three hours.

The water shifts between deep greens and soft blues as it moves with the tide, reflecting the changing light overhead. The combination of glowing sky, calm water, and distant bridges creates a peaceful moment along Florida’s Emerald Coast, where even the anticipation of sunset feels just as beautiful as the event itself.
