Piece description from the artist
A view of the historic iron truss bridge spans the Finley River dam as a winter snowstorm moves through the Ozarks in Ozark, Missouri. The dam below forms a small waterfall, partially veiled by falling snow. Wet, heavy snow clings to the trees along the riverbanks, coating branches and adding a quiet softness to the scene.
In the river below, patches of weeds rise through the water near the bank, adding texture and contrast against the snow-dusted landscape. The combination of historic structure, flowing water, and a passing winter storm captures a moody and atmospheric moment in the heart of the Ozarks.
