The brilliantly lit Farnam Pier glows against the dark early morning sky during twilight, just before sunrise in downtown Omaha, Nebraska, United States. Captured from a riverside sidewalk that passes beneath the uniquely designed 204-foot-long pier, this photograph highlights the quiet flow of the Missouri River and a single bright star shining above, adding a magical touch. The glow of the sky and trees glare and reflect on the water. Opened in September 2023 as part of Omaha’s revitalized Riverfront area, Farnam Pier offers panoramic views of the river and the city skyline behind. This dramatic scene, photographed in October 2023, features moody clouds and the modern energy of a newly transformed urban space.
