Shangri-La Cloud Summit

Piece description from the artist

This is related to Cloudbloom and based on photos of an epic cloudscape from August 2025. I missed the following lightning storm but the honey colored cumulus formations were astounding. The added graphic lines here resemble a few of the lightning strikes I saw forking sharply downwards like a pyramid. The name for my art studio “Studio Shangri-La” comes from the book (and movie) Lost Horizon and this evokes the imagery, feel and message of the book, a state of clarity and presentness in connection with and awareness of Source. And physically, the presence of high peaks around a peaceful valley. There are five lines through the capstone like a musical staff.
